Solfire Raises $16,000 at Desert Smash

March 13, 2013

Solfire and Novak Djokovic partnered up at the 9th Annual Desert Smash charity event and helped raise $16,000 for Variety Children’s Charity. Solfire’s Brendan Murphy donated 2 original paintings signed by Djokovic to the Desert Smash auction. Boris Kodjoe and Alberto Bertini helped us double the amount to $16,000! This charity is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of underprivileged and special needs children in the Coachella Valley.

Along with Djokovic, many other pros came out to support the cause, such as Mardy Fish, Sam Querrey, the Bryan Brothers, Fernando Verdasco, and Jack Sock. The most talked about doubles match featured Mardy Fish and LMFAO singer, Redfoo versus Djokovic and Entourage star, Jeremy Piven. Big thanks to Boris Kodjoe for helping us with the auction!

It was a great event with a lot of positive energy, check out the video to see how it all went down!
