San Jose, CA – On April 10-13, 2014 the first ever contemporary art fair arrives in the Silicon Valley, featuring fifty prominent galleries from across the world. Featured at booth 209, 143 Gallery will be exhibiting contemporary painter Brendan Murphy – whose work has most recently been featured on Google’s Mountain View Campus. With chalkboard-inspired paintings exploring fractal patterns and formulas, Murphy uses color and emotion to connect ancient mathematics to human emotion. Fascinated by this sacred geometry, Murphy’s work has captivated much of the tech world, with collectors stemming from Samsung, Fantex, and Google.
Centered at the cultural capital of the tech industry, the fair will introduce the enjoyment and satisfaction of art buying and collecting to thousands of business and technology leaders in the community.
The inaugural Silicon Valley Contemporary will be held at the impressive San Jose McEnery Convention Center, located at 150 W San Carlos St, San Jose, CA 95113.
