Springfield, NJ – June 23, 2014 – In an effort to make change, artist Brendan Murphy and PGA Master Bubba Watson teamed up last week to raise money at Hope and Heroes’ annual golf event. Hosted by the Batusrol Country Club in Springfied, New Jersey, the event was immensely successful, featuring a live charity auction of 20 limited edition prints by Murphy. Completed in Murphy’s signature style of portraiture, the 30 x 40″ prints featured Bubba Watson in action, signed and numbered by the artist and Watson himself. The collaboration raised over $20,000 for Hope and Heroes, an organization which funds life-saving work on childhood cancers and blood disorders at Columbia University Medical Center.
In addition, World143, a new charity-fueling movement, was proud to have been a part of bringing Brendan Murphy and Bubba Watson’s collaboration to the Hope and Heroes annual golf event, providing much needed support for a terrific organization fighting childhood cancer.
